Of late I have taken to carrying one of the old 3B1 note books as I get this odd need to write down stories that seem to be sparked off by a strong emotional response to a word, phrase, news item or image. I write it down, within a couple of minutes, speeding up as the words seem to start to pile up if I don't hurry. I don't edit this writing and it seems to just fit, with a beginning, middle and ending at the bottom of one page.
