Influenced
by artists such as Don Binney, Toss Woollaston and Grahame
Sydney who have portrayed New Zealand in all manners, seemingly
ever mindful of the landscape and the people who shape it.
The
mountains and peaks accessible to many, but not all, the valleys
so low, dark and magic. In our abodes do we sit and reflect
on, cherish our country - so delicate but strong, feminine
and masculine often within the same breath?
Nostalgia
broods in this great southern land - ours alone.
